Confessions of an insomniac

I am a self diagnosed insomniac who just took melatonin and it didn't work so...

Between running an 2 Etsy shops and going to school full time I pretty much have no time to myself. I literally did homework for 12 hours today and I am still not done with my work for that class for the week. I am pretty content with it though considering that I don't have to leave my house, and being the introvert that I am, I like taking classes online.
Mandala I drew on a friends chalk board wall.
I have managed to spend some time out with friends though. Our little gang is pretty closely knit and we try to get in the habit of meeting with each other at least one night a week. I also managed to finish all of Carnivale this week as well. Don't ask me when or how, because I am not even sure when I found time for it.

Me (keft), Katie (right),
There are a bunch of new items in the shop for Halloween. Although I am excited for my shop this holiday season, surprisingly I am not as excited for my favorite holiday this year as I am every year. I have been a little down in the dumps lately. Mostly because I don't get enough time for myself and because my brain is always so fried from hours of Economics which I find particularly difficult despite my efforts. I guess I am just not in the mood to go to the annual Halloween party that I attend. Maybe I should consider starting a new tradition instead.

The good news is that I have a 4.0 GPA which means I have all A's. I am pretty damn proud of myself. Also this little baby is growing up so fast! He is five months now.

Chris and I came to the mutual decision recently to get married. So I am engaged. Calling him fiance instead of boyfriend is going to be a hard habit to break after being together for almost 7 years. Congratulations to us! We decided to get married March 1, 2015.

Well I suppose I should try to go to sleep again. Anyone else have trouble sleeping? What do you do to try to help you sleep?

Making Extra Cash Online

Google

English: Cashcrate Logo
I know what you are thinking. You've never made money offline and it seems like some impossible scam. I am here to tell you that it is NOT!

I've been a member of CashCrate since 2006. Since that time I have made a significant amount of extra money just spending an hour or so a week online completing surveys and special offers. It's not going to make you rich but if you want to earn some extra money every month with little work it's worth it!

Here is my tip! Create a free email address with Yahoo or Gmail just for CashCrate. After all you will be filing out offers to companies that will send you a lot of spam and you don't want those emails going to your personal email address. Guaranteed spammers will email you, but that shouldn't stop you from making money online.

The sign up is simple enough. It only takes about 30 seconds and once you complete that, they take you to the below screen. Here you select which offers you would like to complete. You click the offer on the left and once you complete the offer, then you click the submit button. Cash Crate then verifies that you completed it and then adds the funds to your account.

The offers don't take more than a minute or so to fill out. They are straightforward and simple. There are also short surveys you can take and games that you can play through facebook!

I know it sounds too easy! But a lot of companies run their businesses completely off of email lists. So, you are getting paid $1.00 to get added to their email list. It may or may not be worth it to you. But I can almost promise you that you are going to start getting a lot of spam in your inbox. That is the trick to it. They want your email address, but it's an email address you will never check or take seriously! In the meanwhile you'll be making money from it.

Again, this site isn’t going to make you rich, but this can be another tool to add to your collection of online income sources.  You can sign up to CashCrate here.
If you have a blog that has anything to do with making money, saving money, or personal finance, it might be worth introducing this site to your readers as a way to pick up some referrals.
What do you think?  Have you used CashCrate before, and if so, do you like it?
