Shop name: IN2BAGS
What you like to go by: Inbal
When did you start your shop: I started my Etsy shop in September 2011; I've been making bags since May 2010.
Is this your only job: Yes
When did you realize you had this talent: Ever since I can remember myself, I've always been creating something; I discovered my talent for designing and sewing 3 years ago.
Where do you find your inspiration: The whole world is my muse - A bird singing at my window, a child at play, a ripe fruit, the scent of a flower, places and sights, people and sounds, old and new.
I love to connect all the worlds, and discover their secrets and essences. My studio is my playground a space of joy, creativity and dreams.
Who has been the most supportive of your work: my mum.
What is one thing you would like to accomplish that you haven't yet: I have this dream to get together with other artists and rent a big hall where each one will have his workshop in; in the center of the hall there will be a big gallery that will exhibit everyone's art.
What are your words to live by or favorite quote: "I gave you the good and the bad,
And the choice is yours and you choose the life!"
It means that in every moment in your life you have the ability to choose between good and bad, to choose how you react to the things that happened to you and around you, if you choosing the positive way, it means you choosing life!

Excerpt from Profile:
A few years ago, a good friend of mine asked me to babysit her sewing machine. I gladly accepted, I just asked her to show me how to turn the thing on and how to put the threads in…

I had no clue about sewing, but a very keen sense of curiosity, which lead me to test every nut and bolt in the new toy... and buy L-O-T-S of fabrics.

By the time my friend asked for her machine back, I was already in love with the huge lump of metal and shortly afterwards, bought my first very own sewing machine!

My storage room was quickly emptied; all its contents were split among friends, sent back home to my parents or given to charity. Shelves were installed, lighting was amplified and a huge door became a worktable; threads, fabrics, buttons and especially pins were scattered all around - the studio was born!

I began to gather information, and quiz all those around me about fabrics, seams, helpful working tools and efficient methods. I dug into books, scanned websites, and confided with the "tribe elders" about secrets and tricks.

Fabrics from all corners of the earth found their way to my doorstep. Bags and Handbags were starting to take form. The rumors began to spread and with them, the customers started to arrive.

Very soon everybody knew that if you're looking for me, I'll probably be in my studio; "almost done… just one small seam… and one more… and one more…"

I've been creating and sewing ever since, mostly Handbags and wallets, and occasionally, when inspiration strikes, other things as well. Every morning anew I get mesmerized by the hum of the sewing machine and the endless creative possibilities that the fabric provides me with.
