I never meant for it to work out this way but I have been updating regarding my creations or what I have been up to about every 48 hours! I set the Featured Artists (daily) in motion and so far it has been very exciting. I have to say that I was not expecting anyone I chose to fill out the interview form that quickly! I was surprised about the successful turn out. The posts so far have also been successful. The first interviewees were all very excited to be a part of the blog and for that I am thankful! Soon the Daily Featured Artist will have it's very own section on the blog. All the artists are hand pick by myself of course because I find interest in their work and want to share that with others. I'm very excited about this new endeavor.
Last night I set out to make a few more bottle cap earrings. It took me about an hour to make three! They do take a while but the end result is totally worth it! The creation process is fairly simple and they are fun to make. Luckily for me I have a nice steady supply of bottle caps from two restaurants. I think that bottle cap earrings will be an on going creative experiment for me!
All in all I had a pretty great day off from work and I look forward to posting tomorrow's Daily Featured Artist!
