Unlike his other books which are usually heavily based on science fiction, Crichton tries something new here. And I am not sure if I really liked it or not. This title started off extremely slow, although not uninteresting. Personally I think there could have but somethings that could have been chopped to make it a speedier read. I felt like some of my time was wasted. Then the story began to pick up a little and became a little bit more intriguing but not by much. This one is missing it's page turning wow factor and is probably my least favorite out of Crichton's collection.
