Such an amazing book cover wasted on garbage!
Predictable.
Not scary or thrilling in any sense.
Characters are undeveloped and annoying.
Simplistic.
I picked up this book because it's hot pink and had a pentagram on it. When I read the synopsis I was under the assumption that one of the girls was really possessed and the book would revolve around an actual possession ceremony. I was wrong and I was disappointed.
It is also off putting that the author tells the reader if they plan on writing a book to not go forward with that endeavor. This book is aimed at teens, and a role model Danielle Vega is not. She should be encouraging teens to write not crushing their hopes and dreams.
