When did you start your shop? March 15, 2009 is my official opening date, but I really started to put a lot of effort into my shop over the past year.

Is this your only job? No, I work part time at a Pub. My day starts in my studio; filling orders, making new pieces and cleaning! I'm currently putting the finishing touches on my Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

When did you realize you had this talent? I have always been creative and artistically inclined. Growing up my mom was a seamstress for a doll maker, seeing her put together all of those small, incredibly intricate designs really stuck with me. I however did not get the sewing gene. Creating jewelry is the perfect way for me to create wearable art.

Where do you find your inspiration? I get my inspiration from nature. I jog every other day. During these jogs I gather inspiration from my surroundings.

Who has been the most supportive of your work? My grandmother. She is a wonderful knitter and has a real eye for color patterns. She shares and likes all of my facebook posts about my shop and business!

What is one thing you would like to accomplish that you haven't yet? Breaking into the craft show arena. I am signed up for several shows this year. I am nervous but also very excited to push my jewelry business in this direction.
What are your words to live by or favorite quote? Ah, summer, what power you have to make us suffer and like it.
