10k Views!

I got up, made myself a cup of coffee, started a load of laundry and turned on my computer to find this! This is pretty exciting! This picture is the number of views I have had in my Etsy Shop and the number of favorites I have had since the start in October 2011!

This means if I have one more view I'll have 10,000 views and one more favorite will make it 1500! I wanted to share that will you because it will probably happen while I type!

I though that was pretty neat! I love Etsy's built in stats and being able to keep track of everything that is going on in my shop. It's nice to know that I have made such progress over the last 4 months. After all why would anyone want to start an Etsy shop if they didn't want it to be a successful one? Even if I'm not quitting my day job any time soon and jewelry making is a hobby of mine. These numbers mean something to me. They confirm to me that I have been working hard. That I have a new purpose. That I'm not wasting my time. That people in countries other than my own are wearing the jewelry that I made, and more impressively, someone other than myself thinks that something I made with my hands is beautiful.
