When did you start your shop? I opened my shop on Etsy in 2008. I had always made jewelry and dabbled in handbag design but had never really formalized a business until I opened my shop on Etsy.

Is this your only job? Currently no, after graduating from college I did work full time running my two shops on Etsy (www. Bijouxrocks.etsy.com and www.anastassiadesigns.etsy.com). Now I have to find balance between my demanding corporate job and my creative passion.
When did you realize you had this talent? I’ve always loved to make jewelry. I think I was about 12 when I sold my first bracelet to a waitress who loved the one I was wearing. Etsy has been a great way to market my items to a broader audience.

Where do you find your inspiration? I’m inspired by the material I work with. I love to create pieces that highlight the beautiful colors of the beads I’m using, or the delicate wrap of wire on wire.
Who has been the most supportive of your work? My mother has always been my number one cheerleader. She’s suffered through craft shows with me when it’s 50 degrees and raining. She loves every item I make and promotes my work every chance she gets.

What is one thing you would like to accomplish that you haven't yet? I’d like to develop a larger wholesale side to my business.
