Image by lukemontague via FlickrA while back I started a the Pen Pal Exchange Project on tumblr. I have added this link at the top of this blog in case anyone is interested in pen pals. We have 133 members and counting since it has started. I'm very proud of how it has grown.There are a few reasons why I love pen paling so much. It keeps you writing. Once you get going sometimes it's hard to stop. Sometimes you write things down you didn't even know you felt. It's a great way to organize your brain, vent, grow or heal.
Another reason, the United States Postal Service is in rough shape. They are always talking about their own demise. I don't want to live in a world without a mail system. So snail mail is the way that I support USPS.
You can make some really wonderful life long friends and learn a great deal from people far away who aren't much different that you or I, although diversity is a wonderful thing!
