Treasury Pin - Pin your Etsy treasuries to Pinterest. All you need is the treasury URL and a Pinterest account! This tool does the rest!

Blogging Tips 101: Get Noticed! 15 Proven Free Website Submission Sites!

Many of you who are new to blogging or computers and the internet and general may not understand what a website submitter is or how important it can be, so I am here to shed some light on that for you!

We all know what a search engine is... a submission site is one that helps "index" your website faster to search engines for you. It can take any where from days to months for a search engine to index your website and even longer to develop top ranking with them. Think of a submission site as a short cut to the indexing part! Only great content and SEO (that's another article in and of itself!) can get your higher rankings!

I should also mention that you should never ever ever EVER pay for search engine submission. When you pay for a service like this most likely they are submitting your website to free services and charging you for nothing. A New Look!

I changed around the look of the blog today! I like it much better this way. I will be working on some more Featured Artists posts next, before I have to go to work that is. Oh how I wish I didn't have to keep a real job!

New Link!

Image by lukemontague via FlickrA while back I started a the Pen Pal Exchange Project on tumblr. I have added this link at the top of this blog in case anyone is interested in pen pals. We have 133 members and counting since it has started. I'm very proud of how it has grown.

There are a few reasons why I love pen paling so much. It keeps you writing. Once you get going sometimes it's hard to stop. Sometimes you write things down you didn't even know you felt. It's a great way to organize your brain, vent, grow or heal.
Another reason, the United States Postal Service is in rough shape. They are always talking about their own demise. I don't want to live in a world without a mail system. So snail mail is the way that I support USPS.
You can make some really wonderful life long friends and learn a great deal from people far away who aren't much different that you or I, although diversity is a wonderful thing!
